Kateryna
Hi everyone, my name is Kateryna.
I think one of my main identities is that of a creator: illustrator first of all, but other than that I enjoy crafting too, different types of fiber arts, creating jewellery dancing and writing sometimes too. That's what I get to do at my workplace, Louka, too. I'm really happy to have a chance to explore new techniques and develop my skills.
I'm Ukrainian and I love learning more about my culture and history and sharing it with other people!

Clara
I’m Clara and I’m from France. I just finished high school and I wanted a new experience before starting my studies. I’m volunteering at Lata where I assist in different activities such as ceramics, yoga, art or sport. I also help in the kindergarten ! I love crafting, music and trying out new hobbies.

Aleyna
Hello, I'm Aleyna. I'm from Kurdistan. I volunteer at Lidicka. I assist in art, architecture, and ceramics class for different age groups. Before coming here, I graduated from architecture faculty and I am currently developing my artistic perspective. I am learning so much from other volunteers from many parts of the world. Learning about a different culture, language, and geography, and sharing my own culture with others, is wonderful. Strengthening solidarity is also a huge part of this journey.

Hector
Hello! I'm Hector from Spain, and this year I'm volunteering at Lipka, an environmental education center here in Brno. Before coming here, I had just finished my last year of high school and wanted to do something different and meaningful before taking the next step. At Lipka, I help prepare workshops, assist teachers during classes, and support outdoor activities. I try to make the most of my time in Brno: learning the language, taking short trips, and discovering new places. I'm also getting back into the gym after a break, which has become one of my favorite parts of the week. I came here looking for a new experience, and so far it's exactly that: challenging, exciting, and full of moments I'll definitely remember.

Bade
Ahoj! I’m Bade, from Türkiye. I’m currently working at Šiška Forest Kindergarten. I studied
Science Education and Primary School Teaching, and I love combining creativity with
learning—especially when working with children. Over the past few years, I’ve gained
experience in both kindergartens and science and art centers. Here at Šiška, I am learning new things every day while supporting the teachers in their daily
routines. I prepare activities and spend a lot of time in the forest with the children, which I
find truly motivating. During my time here, I hope to participate in many activities and contribute as much as I can. In my free time, I enjoy exploring new places, taking photos, and trying adventurous activities such as rafting. I may be new here, but I already feel that I’ve
chosen the perfect place to continue this journey.

Abdo
Ahoooj everyone! I’m Abdo, a 22-year-old software engineer from Marsafa, a tiny Egyptian village you probably won’t find on the map. I started out playing football barefoot in dusty streets and somehow ended up exploring four continents. My biggest inspiration? Cinema! Ever since watching Taxi Driver at 14, I dreamed of New York City — never imagining I’d walk its streets six years later. In my free time, you’ll find me playing football, volleyball, or ping pong, or out traveling, hiking, and cycling.

Ines
Heyy, I'm Inês, I'm from Portugal, I finished High school this year, I wanted a break from the studies and tought volunteering and helping others it's the perfect way to use my time, while learning new skills and having new experiences. I always loved film and photography that's why I signed up to work in Lavka, an atelier of video and photography! And now I'm learning new things and meeting new people everyday!

Yevheniia
Ahoj! Jsem Yevheniia and I'm Ukrainian. My Lužánky workplace is Legato, where I am a part of the circus activities. In my free time, I tried the trapeze, which was a new aerial apparatus for me. During my work time, I help coaches and teach children and adults tricks on the air hoop, sharing acrobatics exercises. It is really nice and a pleasure to be in this huge, wonderful place
